Our Favorite Leather and Suede Jackets for Fall

Sueded and leather jackets are a staple in my house. Pair them with great jeans and a simple tee and you have my go to fall outfit!

I have two suede jackets that I'm so excited to break into my rotation this year! The first one is by BlankNYC. It has a great price point, is soft and the sleeves are long enough for my 5'10" self. That's not an easy feat. I actually loved it so much I bought it in two colors during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. I'm not sure I'll keep both of them, but I can't decide which one to let go of! I bought this one in my true to size medium, and it's perfect. It sold out during the sale, but it's been restocked in all colors and sizes. It's available in red, cognac, grey and black.

The second suede jacket I'm crushing on is by Joie. It's navy! I love Navy. I find it so easy to pair with the olive, burgundys and tan colors of Fall. It has more of that boho feel than black does to me. It's like butter. Seriously. The softest jacket ever. I originally ordered a medium, but it was too tight in my shoulders (my love/hate relationship with swimming continues). I exchanged it for a large, and it fits perfectly. This was another Nordstrom Anniversary Sale item so I didn't pay full price. It sold out though but, like the BlacnkNYC jacket, it's back in stock in all sizes. I'd pay full price for either of these jackets. I love them that much.

I lusted after Rick Owens leather jackets for years. I just couldn't spend that much on one jacket. Even if I knew I'd wear it non stop. Then I saw Veda's take on it and it was love. I have this jacket in both a black and a grayish color. I ordered them in my true to size medium. I've had them for years now and they've stayed staples in my wardrobe come fall. The ribbed sleeves make it easy to layer under them. They instantly make any outfit "cool" to me.

I'm really trying to resist the urge to buy this one. The price point is high and that's keeping me from pulling the trigger, but the color is so pretty! Just say no. . . just say no. . .
