Rain, Rain Go Away!

We live in Houston. We moved here mere weeks ago. I'm sure you've all seen the images by now. It's devastating, heart breaking and scary as hell. We had no idea what we were in for and trusted our local authorities when they told us to stay put and not evacuate. We are currently safe, but the rain does not seem to be relenting any time in the near future. Our fingers are crossed that Harvey runs its course quickly with no more rain, and our thoughts and prayers are with all those frightened as they watch the water inch their way and especially with those who have already had to evacuate their homes. Don't even get me started on why we weren't told to evacuate days ago. . .

In the spirit of trying to stay positive and productive I thought I'd do a post on my favorite rain boots. Now if only I could get a pair delivered!

I add these insoles to my boots so that even in cold weather my feet are dry and extra toasty!

Last year's version of there are the ones currently keeping my feet dry in the 500 year flood! I highly recommend them!
