Anthropologie is my favorite place for summer and early fall dresses and tops. They just get breezy and effortless, and in the Texas heat that's much appreciated! I ordered a few things this week for a couple of outdoor events and parties we have coming up. You know how when you place an order it's either all a disaster and you're sad, but your budget is happy, or it's (almost) all amazing, and you're so excited but sweating over the bill?!? Yeah. . .this one was full of keepers! Yay and ouch all at the same time!
Tiered Eyelet Midi Dress: This one was TTS for me in a 6. It's summer perfection! And it's on sale!! There's nothing I love more for summer than a white eyelet dress!
Mosley Embroidered Dress: Breezy but with the color scheme it could still be a great piece for Fall. I sized down to a S in this one too so it wouldn't be too flowy.
Algarve Eyelet Midi Dress: I was nervous about the cut outs bc I'm not 25 anymore ;), but it's perfection. It's just enough to be summer cute without being sexy. It hits in all the right places and is soft and slightly stretchy too! It fits TTS.
Provencal Midi Dress: This was one of two misses for me. I actually couldn't decide if it was boho, and I liked it, or if it was too Little House on the Prairie. Ultimately, it wasn't love which means it won't be what I reach for so it's going back. Also Lauren came in when I was trying it on and said "Um. . . are you keeping that one?" I knew then it wasn't going to be a keeper! I sized down to a S. The M would have been too large.
Moth Sweater Blazer: You guys! This blazer is so soft that it's like a dream! I sized down to a S and it's great. I have broad shoulders too. It has the perfect amount of structure without being rigid in a business only way. Such a great Fall piece that I ordered it in 2 colors! I think it'll be perfect for a casual holiday gathering too!
Romantic Lace Kimono Jacket: I love this piece! It's summer ready but can easily transition to Fall. I sized down to S and was glad I did.
Fowler Tank: I love the colors, the cut and the fabric! It was loose enough to forgive any Mommy tummy issues but not so loose that people would wonder if I was growing baby number 3 in there! It is the perfect summer top! I sized down to a S and was glad I did.
Morena Gabbrielle Flower Shootie: Soft as butter. The zipper in the back doesn't rub. They ran TTS for me, and I have longer toes (or so I think;). The color is the prettiest light blue with a hint of lilac. In Texas these can be an almost year round shoe too. It was love!
Perforated Ankle Booties: I really love navy as you can probably tell from my house choices! It's so much softer on me than black but these I just couldn't get into. I didn't love the wood block heel because it looked like faux wood in real life. Plus I've loved so many other shoes lately that something had to go back! They were TTS though.
I'm so excited about the pieces I'm keeping! Between these and the ones I kept from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale I think I'm ready for Fall! Which here means 80-85 degree temperatures! Ha! Cute clothes are worth being a little warm for though right?! :)
