An Express Surprise (or 2!)

Do you ever see someone wearing something that you just instantly love, and you have to know where it came from? I was at Caroline's soccer practice a few days ago, and a woman had the cutest shorts on! I was brave and asked her where she found such perfect shorts (I can be really shy sometimes!), and she was so kind and told me Express. She also said she bought them after asking a stranger on the street where she purchased her shorts because she thought they were so cute on! I went home, looked them up online and immediately ordered them- in two colors! And they're on sale!

They came in the mail yesterday, and they're wonderful! The elastic waist makes them so comfy and the length is that perfect not too long and not too short length. They're also a great mid rise. They are TTS for me, and I ordered a S. They're going to be a staple in my wardrobe for this last push of summer. Who am I kidding? I live in Houston. . . I'll be wearing them until January!

I also found the Barcelona tank that has quickly become a staple. It is reversible- which is not only great for going with so many things, but great when you spill something on yourself too ;). It doesn't cling to the body, and it comes in tons of beautiful colors! I took my usual size M, but you might size down if you aren't as broad through the shoulders/back as I am. I have years and years of swimming to thank or loathe for that depending on the clothing item! This is also a great layering piece as we move into Fall.
