Cabinets!!

Our cabinets were supposed to go in Friday so you can imagine my surprise when I got a text from my neighbor on Tuesday saying "you have a giant semi unloading cabinets in front of your house!" And then about an hour later "Make that 2 semis! How many cabinets did you have made?!" I was so excited that I drove by to just watch them leave unload truck :). The next day I came by in the morning and met Harry who's in charge of cabinets. He said "you really like cabinets don't you?" I laughed and asked if I really had that many, and he said "well, we delivered to another house 3 times this size last week. They had the same number of cabinets." I guess I do love a good cabinet! I told him "I'm from the East Coast." He said "That explains it." Ha! Maybe it's a Georgia thing!
I peeked inside and they were placing all the cabinets in their rooms and starting the install. It looked something like this:
The Munchkins and I came back by after school and Harry and his guys had made amazing progress! They had them almost all installed. Here they are, but they're still wrapped so you can't see all the beauty quite yet- and for the record I don't think we have too many at all. I may sound like Goldilocks, but I think they're just right!

We've been told that the move in date is 75 days from the cabinet install plus about 2 weeks for touch ups. I'm starting my countdown! The stucco application will continue this week and tile should be installed in the bathrooms and laundry room. It's really starting to feel like a house!
