After 15 long months we're finally home!

We started this process in December of 2017, and we finally closed on March 1, 2019! It took right around 15 months. We were told it would take 10. Ha! That was funny. We all lived in our little apartment for 9 months. We made it work, and actually it was kind of fun. I love my people so I didn't mind one bit. I don't miss stepping over furniture to get to the door though!

We are slowly getting settled. We had a few things that needed to be fixed/addressed after moving in, and the last of those just finished last week. It's starting to feel like it's all ours, and that it's home!

I'm planning to reveal a room or 2 a week. Some rooms are further along than others. I focused on the kids rooms first so they'd feel comfortable after all of the bouncing around that we've done. Our living room furniture was delivered Monday (and ordered in January but had a fabric delay- ugh!) so we finally all have a place to sit down! The media room will likely be empty until right before college football season (Go Dawgs!) because it's last on my list. I can't wait to share it all with you!

Here's a look back at the exterior over the last year or so. I can't wait to add a few things outside (I'm thinking a few window boxes and a climbing vine or two along with changing up the landscape quite a bit) and make it look even more like home!
